REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant must have one or more of the following:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be 18 or Older
  • Experienced (Not Limited if Certified)
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Qualified References
  • Drug Screening
  • Yearly TB Screening
  • Credentials indicating successful completion of training from a school or other state licensed recognized program and be listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry
  • Successful completion of a State of Georgia approved competency exam including score sheet, skills test along with testing check sheets
  • Must have no restriction on transferring clients
  • Must possess patience and tact in working with the sick, elderly or disabled clients
  • Works under close supervision of agency staff and cooperates with the staff from other agencies involved and the client’s family
  • Must maintain current CNA certification (if applicable), (TB) test, CPR and First Aide Certification, have reliable transportation, comprehensive automobile insurance and a working contact telephone number

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including, meal
    preparation and assistance with eating
  • Assist with bathing, showers, dressing. grooming, toileting, ambulating and transferring from bed to chair or other locations
  • Routine housekeeping including laundry, changing the bed linens, dusting, washing dishes, light vacuuming and other light household duties
  • Run errands as necessary as directed by Care Plan
  • Serve as companion to client and providing temporary relief to family caregiver
  • Provide specialized, non-medical client care as instructed by supervisor and evidence by documentation of training
  • Serve as liaison between the client and the Agency including submitting documentation of service provided (Daily Task Sheet), vital signs taken (when required) and progress made, and communication of the client’s condition needs

FRI, SAT, SUN 1PM-7PM

We are looking for a compassionate, caring, dependable, trustworthy caregiver to provide care to a lady in Dalton, Ga. Our client is 93-years old and full of spunk. She would like to have a caregiver to provide her companionship, take her on joyrides, and take her to get ice cream or a milkshake. She may need a little assistance with personal care, but mostly companionship. She request that her caregiver be available for her on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the hours of 1pm until 7pm.

JOB OPENING: CAREGIVER FOR 89 YEAR OLD MALE
MON-FRI 10PM-6AM & SAT, SUN 7PM-7AM

89-year old male, enjoys watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, History channel, and listening to music is requesting a caregiver. Our client is requesting a caregiver to provide him companionship while enjoying activities of his enjoyment. Our client also request that his caregiver assist with his personal care needs such as bathing, oral care, incontinent care, assistance with his meals, and provide him with transfer assistance in/out of the bed/chair. Our client is requesting a caregiver for the hours of 7pm until 7am on Saturdays and Sundays as well as a caregiver to provide care for him Monday – Friday during the hours of 10pm until 6am.

Female client, 89-years old, requesting a caregiver, Monday – Friday during the hours of 8am – 12pm in the Tunnel Hill area. Our client is requesting a caregiver to provide her with some light housekeeping, assist with her meals, occasional transportation to and from her doctor’s appointments, stand by assistance while she showers, as she can do independently but she would like a caregiver to be in the home while she showers to monitor her safety. Our client uses a walker and enjoys walks outside. She request that her caregiver be able to provide her companionship on her short walks. Our client has an outdoor cat and request that her caregiver be cat friendly.

JOB OPENING: CAREGIVER FOR 81 YEAR OLD FEMALE
MON-FRI 10AM-1PM

Very pleasant, 81-year old female requesting a caring, compassionate, trustworthy, understanding, dependable caregiver to provide her care during the hours of 10am – 1pm, Monday – Friday. Our client is unfortunately bedbound and is need of a caregiver to provide her with her personal care needs as well as some very light household chores. Her personal care needs consist of providing her with a bed bath (M,W,F) assisting with her oral care, assisting her with toileting/ incontinent care, assisting her with dressing, positioning, and serving her meals that are provided by her family. The light household chores would just be changing/washing her linens, taking out the trash, along with some dusting and vacuuming. Our client has the cognitive ability to communicate as to what she needs; she just lacks the physical ability to perform the task.
